let me just start by saying i'm working on a theory that i am more than likely a basic b.
the evidence i have to support this is well, quite frankly, overwhelming. case in point: i am a regular at the starbucks drive through, i equate "me time" to driving around kid-free whilst blasting 90's rap music, i find peace at my local target, i love a good meme and finally, athleisure is my whole personality. but please, do not let that deter you from reading any further. my main argument against being a basic b is that I do not own a Stanley- take that for what you will. i also mean absolutely NO offense to anyone that does- i probably just haven't gotten there...yet.
all that being said, i present to you my latest Target haul:
so, the ribbed tank, i must be transparent: not only do i own this in multiple colors, but any time i see that it's on sale (it's normally 8 bucks and discounted to $6.40) i will buy "back ups" of white, grey and black. it is safe to say i am mounting quite the collection. the reason being, i wear these ALL. THE. TIME. and if and when they get stained or start to look dingy, i can just replace with a new one and not feel like i'm draining my bank account.
the slingback is pretty obvious... they are CUTE. i am a creature of habit and don't normally buy niche fabric or colored, bejeweled footwear, however, these caught my eye and for $30, i couldn't say no. *i am a total sucker for an impulse buy. also, don't ask where i'm going to wear these... i'm still working on that part.
the denim button down is a great staple in any wardrobe and i love the cropped- but not too cropped- look. i plan on wearing this with some black trousers for work and pairing it with black or white denim shorts for a canadian tuxedo summer night.
the grey lightweight tank is self-explanatory, right?
